Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

Yields: Approx. 5 dozen (or 30 large)
Ingredients
2 ¼ cups All-Purpose Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Sea Salt
1 cup (2 sticks) Unsalted Butter, softened
¾ cup Cane Sugar
¾ cup Packed Light Brown Sugar
1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
2 Large Eggs
2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1 cup Chopped Nuts (Optional – Pecans or Walnuts)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, sugars, and vanilla extract.
4. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
5. Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients.
6. Mix in the chocolate chips and nuts.
7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets (use parchment paper if desired).
8. Bake for 9–11 minutes, until golden brown.
9. Cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes, then let rest
